Paul and Steven have been registered teachers with the Yoga Alliance since 2003 and Atomic Yoga is a registered yoga school. We offer extended trainings designed for serious students interested in expanding their studies of Yoga. These intensive programs involve a more detailed explanation of the the Yoga asanas, modifications to the poses and anatomy. We also offer in depth discussions of Yoga philosophy, Yoga energetics, Ayurveda, pranayama and the art and business of teaching yoga.
For anyone wishing to become Yoga teachers, this curriculium satisifies the requirements set Yoga Alliance. The full program is approximently 200 hours. The majority of this time is spent learning the form, adjustments and cueing of the yoga poses in a real time, hands-on environment. The remaining time is divided between lectures (anatomy, philosophy, sanskrit, etc.) and independent study.
